PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT IN VRIJE BASISSCHOOL SINT-SALVATOR
Description: With the support of the city of Gent, in the context of a project with "Creëer je wijk" from the city of Gent, I gave a course of basic photography to the teacher of primary school Jonathan De Mey.
Afterwards, the teacher gave basic photography lessons to the pupils of his class of 5th grade.
As “final work” for this experience, the students have taken "studio" photos of themselves, and going outside the school, looking for images related with the growing deterioration of the natural environment of their neighborhood.
These images were exposed in the school and in the windows of houses and stores of the school neghborhood.
